The Last of Us was one of the most beloved PlayStation exclusives of the PlayStation 4 generation, so there is no denying the hype levels for the upcoming sequel. Fans haven’t heard much about the game since the very strange Sony E3 2018 conference. With Sony skipping out on E3 2019, it seems that some news about The Last of Us 2 should be just around the corner, hopefully in the form of an official release date!

Platform: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC
Genre: Action-Adventure/FPS
Serving as a sequel to the 2015 game, Dying Light, Dying Light 2 is set to release in Q2 2020. Originally announced at E3 2018, the sequel will follow the story of a protagonist named Aiden Caldwell.
Throughout the game, players will have to make a series of choices, each which have unforeseen consequences. Like it’s predecessor, Dying Light 2 will have parkour and other similar gameplay mechanics. The release of Dying Light 2 is still around a year away at the time this article was written, so I can’t imagine an official release date will be announced for a few more months.
However, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about this sequel. For one, the map size is 4x larger than the original game’s map; that means more areas to explore and more people to meet. Secondly, Techland promises to support Dying Light 2 for years, even after the next generation of consoles begin.

Publisher: Activision

Genre: Action/FPS
There’s a little bit of craziness surrounding the annual Call of Duty game, after Activision pulled Raven and Sledgehammer Studios off of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 development and handed it over to Treyarch Studios. An official release date hasn’t been given for Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 yet, but it is safe to assume that it will likely be coming in either October or November of 2020 (based on previous years).
Call of Duty: Black Ops 5 will be the fifth installment to the Black Ops series, which began in 2010. The first game was originally developed by Treyarch, as was the most recent game in the series, Black Ops 4.
